Key Features
- No Fixtures Required: Fixture-free depaneling eliminates tooling costs and reduces manpower and material resource consumption — boards are held and routed automatically.
- Flexible Board Output Modes: Supports three output configurations — conveyor belt, Tray, and rail track — for maximum compatibility with existing SMT line setups.
- X-Board Recognition (Skip Cut): The machine can detect and recognise the position of the X board on the panel and skip it without cutting — improving production efficiency and eliminating false cuts.
- Off-Board Induction & Ionic Static Elimination: Automatic off-board sensing combined with ionic electrostatic discharge (on both the gripper clamp and suction port) keeps separated boards free from static charge and contamination.
- Upper Vacuum Dust Collection: High-sealing upper vacuum system captures FR4 routing dust at the source, delivering excellent dust collection performance and keeping the PCB surface clean.
- External 2.2KW Vacuum System: External high-power vacuum cleaner with soundproof box sealed cabinet, trolley-type dust collection box, and enhanced dust management for demanding production environments.
- Cutting Knife Monitoring: Real-time blade status monitoring detects cutter wear or breakage, alerting operators before defects occur and preventing board damage.
- Clamping Model — Three Clamp Types: The R-600A Clamping Model (R-600A) offers three interchangeable clamp configurations (Clamp A, Clamp B, Clamp C) to suit different PCB geometries and panel sizes.
- Rich Optional Add-Ons: Expandable with automatic tool changer, automatic clip change, MES system docking, double track function, automatic up/down Tray, track output plate, scrap dock, and defective product detection.
Product Description
The R-600A operates on a CNC-controlled XY motion platform that precisely follows the programmed routing path of each PCB panel design. Unlike traditional depaneling methods that use V-cut blades or manual separation, the R-600A’s router bit cuts along the tab or contour outline of each individual board — producing clean, burr-free edges with no bending stress on the PCB or its components.
One of the standout capabilities of the R-600A is its ability to recognise and skip the X board on a panel — a feature critical for production lines that run mixed panels or panels with populated and unpopulated board positions. This recognition function ensures that only valid boards are routed and separated, while designated skip positions are left intact, eliminating waste and improving yield.
The machine’s three output mode options — belt conveyor, Tray, and rail track — are illustrated in the device extension diagrams. In belt output mode, separated boards are delivered to the outfeed conveyor belt and transported to the next station. In Tray mode, boards are stacked into a Tray holder on a lift mechanism. In rail track mode, boards are guided directly into an exit track channel for integration with downstream equipment. Each output mode can be configured to suit the specific production line layout.
The R-600A Clamping Model incorporates a gripper-based board holding system with three interchangeable clamp head options — Clamp A, Clamp B, and Clamp C — each designed for different PCB panel profiles, edge configurations, and tab spacings. The ionic electrostatic dust removal system on both the gripper and suction port ensures that every separated board exits the machine with minimal surface contamination.
The integrated vacuum architecture combines an upper enclosed vacuum housing at the router head with a powerful external 2.2KW vacuum unit housed in a soundproof sealed cabinet. The conical dust-absorbing design with internal electrostatic device provides superior FR4 dust capture — addressing one of the most persistent challenges in PCB routing operations.
R-600A Clamping Model — Clamp Options
The R-600A Clamping Model supports three interchangeable clamp head configurations, selectable based on PCB geometry and production requirements:
| Clamp Type | Configuration | Best Use Application |
|---|---|---|
| Clamp A | Standard gripper clamp — flat jaw configuration | General-purpose PCB panels with standard edge profiles |
| Clamp B | Extended narrow jaw clamp | PCBs with tighter tab spacing or smaller panel borders |
| Clamp C | Precision pin/slot clamp | High-accuracy positioning for fine-pitch or densely populated boards |
Clamp heads are interchangeable and can be swapped between production runs to accommodate different PCB designs without machine reconfiguration.]
Vacuum & Dust Collection System
Upper Vacuum System (Internal)
- High-sealing enclosed housing at the routing head captures FR4 dust directly at the cutting point
- Best-in-class sealing performance prevents dust from escaping to the PCB surface or machine internals
- Effective for both fine routing dust and larger chip debris
External Vacuum System (2.2KW)
- External 2.2KW high-power vacuum cleaner provides strong suction capacity for heavy-duty routing operations
- Soundproof box sealed cabinet — significantly reduces operational noise level in the production environment
- Trolley-type dust collection box allows easy removal and disposal of accumulated routing waste
- Conical dust-absorbing design with built-in electrostatic device for superior dust separation and collection

Belt Conveyor Output Mode
In belt output mode, the R-600A delivers separated PCBs directly onto an outfeed conveyor belt. The belt transport system is integrated into the machine frame and connects seamlessly to downstream SMT equipment. This is the most common configuration for continuous inline production.
- Separated boards transported via anti-static conveyor belt to the next process station
- Suitable for high-speed continuous production where boards must feed directly into the next machine
- Configurable for left-to-right (L→R) or right-to-left (R→L) transport direction
Tray Output Mode
In Tray output mode, separated PCBs are automatically stacked into a Tray holder mounted on a motorised lift mechanism. The Tray descends as each board is placed, maintaining a consistent board drop height throughout the stacking cycle.
- Tray rail system guides boards into the Tray with precision positioning
- Motorised lift mechanism provides automatic Tray height adjustment
- Ideal for production lines where boards are batch-collected for manual transport or secondary inspection
Rail Track Output Mode
In rail track output mode, separated boards are guided out of the machine via a dedicated rail channel directly connected to the next piece of inline equipment.
- Track output plate ensures smooth board transfer with no gap between machines
- SMEMA-compatible signal handshake with downstream equipment
- Best suited for fully automated SMT lines where zero manual board handling is required
